Kevin Fonseca Laverde. Born in 1993, lives and works in Colombia. He studied a Master in Education, society and politics at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences-FLACSO Uruguay, specialized in Collective memories, human rights and resistances by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences-CLACSO and is a designer at the National University of Colombia. He begins his experience as a project manager in 2014 co-founding collectives and collaborating, from/with design and management, in cultural processes in Valle del Cauca and then in Cundinamarca (Colombia); he also begins research in design in the social design line in 2015 and in 2016 he calls it Design and Conflict. That same year, together with his team, they receive the A'design Award recognition from the Italian organization A'design Award & Competition in the Social Design line; thanks to this recognition the project is exhibited in several countries around the world.

Since 2017 he has focused on activating research through pedagogical and dialogical actions, in addition to building projects with different organizations. He has lectured in Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico, United States of America and Spain about her research and actions in events such as the Art and Society Forum at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali (2017), the Twelfth International Conference on Design Principles & Practices: No Boundaries Design in Barcelona (ESP) in the area of Design for Society (specifically: Memory, Commemoration, Design) - 2018, talk Thinking Design from Conflict in Study Material (CO) - 2019, invited talk Design and Culture for the Secretariat of Culture of Palmira, Colombia (2020), workshop leader at the International Seminar: Activism and Public Space at the Universidad Ibero de Puebla (MX) - 2021 and in 2022 as an advisor in peace building for diverse technological futures in TecnoRizoma of Sapiens Laboratory (GTM), panelist in Cátedra environment resilient creativity at the Universidad Ibero de Puebla (MX) and workshop leader of the Second International School Design and Creation of the Technological Institute of Medellin (CO), in 2024 at the Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brazil-CCID, among others. 

He is currently territorial manager of the Red de Acción Co-Creativa (RACC) between Colombia and Latin America, forming membranes of action management, works in the Ministry of Design, an ongoing research project in collaboration with Juliana Vargas, which focuses on archiving material from various fields of design in Colombia, with a main emphasis on popular design and is a member of Art and Conservation in territorial pedagogy. She seeks the creation of local, national and international networks to develop collective projects establishing a line of action between design and the construction of multidimensional peace.  He has worked in organizations such as: Centro Nacional de Memoria Histórica (pedagogy strategy), Comisión para el Esclarecimiento de la Verdad (pedagogy strategy) and at Universidad de los Andes as a professor, among others.
